Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese concept that stems from simplicity and authenticity. It values the beauty of imperfection. Elegance in natural materials, nobility without sophistication, timelessness with tradition: these are the principles that define Axel Vervoordt's personal vision of the concept.

This book presents Vervoordt interiors inspired by wabi philosophies, showing readers how to create calm and peaceful spaces in which beauty is distilled in its purest form. Created with contributions from architect and frequent collaborator Tatsuro Miki, the photographs in Laziz Hamani's book transport us into the unique atmospheres of these Wabi Inspirations.

Hardcover, 26.5 x 22 cm, 245 pages.
